Hi I'm Amy, owner and creator of Mama is a dreamer. Having worked in a corporate setting for over 20 years I had always wanted to set up a business but was never quite sure which route to take. I guess I have always been creative but never really afforded myself the time or confidence to explore my creativity until three years ago when I started making jewellery for myself at home. I documented this across my instagram and here I am three years later.

Since then I have left the corporate world behind me and am now working full time making jewellery & handpicking a selection of curated jewellery for my online store. I absolutely adore jewellery & accessories, something I inherited from my mom Mary. I especially love to use freshwater pearls and gemstones in my designs. I use mainly gold filled beading in my bracelets and necklaces which is a higher quality , more durable alternative to gold plated beading. More recently I have started using 3 micron gold clasps and charms and am loving the superior quality these have.I also make pieces in sterling silver and for more affordable pieces I use gold plated jewellery and accessories.

In the last year I have started running jewellery workshops which have been such a hit for a hen party or corporate event. Please get in touch if this might be something that interests you.
